Welds completed and ground smooth. The lower piece has been cut off.
Next trim the Lower Patch Panel to fit the lower cut out area.
Here you see the lower piece has been trimmed to fit. Drill the 3/16 holes in the flange as previously instructed on page 6. The patch panel is being held in place with four small clamping pliers in the rear.
Then weld the panel in place. Weld carefully and let the metal cool
between each spot to prevent warping.
Don't forget to weld the top and bottom pieces together using the 3/16 holes.
