You can see how the pieces are fitted and welded together.
The inner fender has been cut away and will be replaced after the rust has been repaired. A temporary brace has been tacked in place to hold the fender in place until the inner fender is re-installed.
Here the inner fender has been re-installed and the old rusted out parts
replaced with new metal. The temporary brace has been removed.
